2.1. Early Intervention

The Unit office for York Catholic Teachers was informed by Employee Health and Wellness that you are presently on medical leave. In order to help facilitate a successful recovery, I would appreciate an opportunity to discuss the various support services available to you at this time, as well as answer any questions you may have about your leave.

If your circumstances could potentially require more than 120 sick days, an application to Long Term Disability must be completed in a timely manner.  An application for LTD can take up to 12 weeks to process.  I am available to explain the application process and clarify the various aspects and strict timelines of LTD.

As well, you should anticipate contact by a representative of the Early Intervention Program who can provide various services to support your recuperation at no cost to our members.  For further details, please see the brochure attached.

It is best to email me at  gregbolton@yctoecta.com.  If you wish to speak one on please email me and I will schedule a time for us to chat.  If you have an emergency situation/questions then you cae n also call the Unit office at 905-508-2008
I look forward to helping you in any way possible

Take care

Greg Bolton
